You must renew your design registration on its fifth anniversary. You'll then need to renew every 5 years up to a maximum of 25 years.
If you do not renew up to 6 months before or within one month after the renewal date, you'll also need to pay late payment fees. You can make a 'late renewal' up to 6 months after the renewal date by paying £24 for each complete month that's passed on top of the renewal fee.
